Any excuse to wear ruby red slippers
A new trend amongst kids and parents these days is letting children wear costume elements whenever they want. Courtney Cox has been photographed taking her daughter Coco to a restaurant with Coco in an adorable girls princess costume. Angelina Jolie lets baby Zahara wear her bunny ear jacket tirelessly. So why can't your kids wear their childrens fairy costumes to that special dinner or maybe even just their ruby red slippers? We don't see any reason why not! Dressing up sparks the imagination of young children and keeps them dreaming. Wearing her ruby red slippers to dinner with you might just be your daughter's way of dressing nice like mommy. Here at Kids Costume Shop, we encourage you to let your children dream big, and if our costumes can help them do it, then that is a wonderful thing.
Childrens fairy costumes for parties
More and more kids are wearing costumes on a regular basis or at least more often than just Halloween. Birthday parties, sleepovers, and other cool events are becoming "theme" parties where children costume shop for the big event. Princess and fairy parties are becoming a favorite of little girls celebrating their birthdays or just playing dress up. Riding on the success of Pirates of the Carribbean, boys are even having pirate parties.
Make your little one happy by throwing her a magical fairy party where everyone will get to be their own fairy. You can then do fun games and crafts, like decorating their own wands with glitter and sparkles. You may either buy everyone their own childrens fairy costumes or ask their parents if they might purchase one for their own children. Either way, a theme party for little fairies can be a magical way to celebrate a birthday.
